Tennis Clinics for Kids, Teens, and Adults
Spring Session, March-May, 2022
- Small class sizes allow for individual attention to all students.
- Low compression tennis balls are used in all kids' clinics for ages 4-12, allowing for quicker success and more fun for all students.
- Multiple age/ability grouping (ages 4-5, 6-8, 9-14, 14+) allows each student to participate with children of his or her own ability level.
Teaching Pro: Bob Phillips, USPTA Certified Tennis Professional
Limit: 10 students per class.
Covid 19 Safety Precautions
Fortunately, tennis is a sport in which social distancing can be safely maintained.
- To allow for distancing, a limited number of students will be in each clinic.
- Students will be distanced at least 6 feet away from each other (and me) at all times during instruction, drills, drink breaks, and when exiting the court at the end of class.
- Students will be dismissed from class, one by one, to avoid crowding.
- Hand sanitizer will be available to all students before, during, and after each class.
No Racquet? No Problem.
If you do not have a tennis racquet, I will be happy to provide you with a racquet for the first clinic. At the end of the first clinic, I will recommend a racquet of the correct size and weight.
Racquets will be available for purchase at the clinic.
Miss a Class? No Problem.
If you have to miss a Little Grippers, Little Kahunas, or Junior Beginner class during the Spring session, you may attend any Spring session class at the Murrysville clinic on Tuesdays as your make-up. Murrysville classes are held at the same times as the Greensburg classes.
Spring make-up classes can be made-up during the Spring session, only, and cannot be carried over to future sessions.
Junior Intermediate, Junior Challenger, and High School clinics are only offered at the Murrysville location, so there are no make-up classes available. However, high school students may attend an Adult Clinic class as a make-up.
Clinic classes that are cancelled because of inclement weather (or other reasons) will be made up. Click on "Make-up Dates" in the Tennis Clinics menu bar, above, for the make-up class schedule.
Private Lessons and Group Lessons are also available. Contact Bob at 814-659-4908.
